# Introduction

> Integrate WhatsApp messaging, customer connections and events with Watahub.

Watahub is a tenant-scoped gateway to WhatsApp Cloud API. Your application uses a Watahub API key to work with its phone numbers, messages, customers and conversations.

Start with [your first request](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/quickstart.md), then configure [webhooks](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/webhooks.md) for incoming messages and delivery updates.

## Choose your workflow

Connect customer numbers with [hosted setup links](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/connect.md). Send [messages and media](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/messages-media.md), read [conversations](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/conversations.md) and manage [templates](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/templates.md) before creating [broadcasts](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/broadcasts.md).

Use `/v1` for Watahub's formats. The limited Graph-compatible routes preserve Meta's payloads; they are not an unrestricted proxy. Read [API behavior](https://docs.watahub.dev/en/api-behavior.md) before choosing an interface.

Administrative and account-console endpoints are separate from the public integration API and are not part of this reference.
